Fitness & Conditioning Camp It is going well with 68 total athletes signed up. Recent 2 mile times have been as low as 12:45! Recent runs have seen as many as five athletes break 14:00 simultaneously. Most importantly, everyone is getting faster and more fit! The athletes at camp also recently completed the Akers-Stahl Sprint Workout in 32:41! Outback Steakhouse Fundraiser Event We have reserved October 10, 2009, for our major fundraising activity...so set aside the date! In addition to a great meal, we will have raffels, silent auctions, and lots of other activities!!! All players will be required to attend and anyone else is welcome! Summer Expectations Remember to do your summer homework! If you've forgotten what the details are, click the link above or here to see the document with all of the expectations. Don't forget that daily kickarounds occur on the north fields at 8:30am. Participation has been mediocre of late, and will be critical in helping us start the season well...so come on out! DU Soccer Camp Update The DU Camp will be held at Gates Soccer Complex from 7/24-7/26 and will include 5 sessions. Each session will have a 55 minute training session run by a college coach followed by a 1 hour game against another high school. Exact schedules will be posted soon. Participation is by invitation only; invitations will be made at the morning fitness camp and kickarounds. If you have been invited to the DU Camp, make sure you do three things: 1) Go to the links above, print BOTH forms, and turn them in to Coach Romano. 2) Email Coach Romano with a response of whether or not you can attend the camp. 3) Give a check for $135 to Coach Romano; make payable to Denver Soccer Academy. |
