Each essay response has a recommended approximate word length of 200 - 300 words. We are not counting words though. This recommendation is mainly to let applicants know that we are looking for more than a couple of sentences, but are not expecting multiple pages of writing for responses. Think, "one or two nice meaty paragraphs."
The application process will be based on two factors:
-
Middle School (6th - 8th grade) overall performance (grades and MAPS scores).
-
Student responses to essay prompts
