  • Congratulations to all our Academic Award Recipients. These students have worked very hard for the last 2 semesters to earn an Academic Award. The Academic Awards Ceremony is on May 2nd at 6:30 p.m. If you are not sure whether or not you are receiving an award, there is a list of recipients on the window of the Administration Office.
  • There will be a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, April 24 during ASP in the auditiorium for any students interested in running in the upcoming class elections. Please see Mrs. Coogan or Mrs. Sivernell for  more information.
  •  Did you know that April 27th is a very important day?  Not only are many Colorado schools recognizing A Day Without Hate, it is also the nation-wide recognition of Day of Silence.  On April 27th this year, in association with Legacy's Day Without Hate, join Legacy's GSA to show your support for LGBTQ students and teens everywhere.  Take a vow of silence for the day to symbolize the silencing and erasure of the LGBTQ community.  Ask Ms. French-Jurgens for details, otherwise, information regarding the event's purpose and how you can Break the Silence will be available in the commons at each lunch on the 27th.
  • Attention Juniors! We still need to fill Senior Project Night positions on April 25th beginning at 12:30pm and ending at approximately 9:00pm.  You can sign up for 2 hour shifts and this will help with any Volunteer hours you may need - a certificate is available! This opportunity also helps with a behind-the-scenes view of what Senior Project is and helps you to plan your own!  Please see Ms. Smith in the Counseling office ASAP to sign up!
  • Attention Seniors- A representative from Front Range Community College will be in the counseling office on Monday, April 23, 9am-12pm to assist seniors with applying for FRCC next year.  Please see Mrs. Dietel to schedule a 20 minute appointment with the representative and get an info worksheet to help you prepare for the application session.
  • Registration for the Comprehensive Athletic Physicals for Sports or CAPS has begun. Please see the flyers posted in the halls or Jessica/Tim for registration information.
  • Attention Seniors!  Adams 12 Five Star Schools awards the Five Star Diploma, which is a distinction in addition to the standard Adams 12 diploma, to students who have met academic criteria that exceed the minimum requirements to earn a high school diploma.  These criteria include, in part, earning 24 or more credits, having a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and taking one or more courses in World Language.

We have posted a list of students who we currently believe have earned this distinction in the counseling department.  If you believe you are eligible for this distinction, please check to ensure that your name is on this list.  If it is not on the list, you can submit a request for us to review your records.  These requests must be turned in no later than Wednesday, April 18th.    Please see the counseling department with any questions.

  • Attention seniors!. Senior dessert is coming up on May 10 and tickets are on sale now.  Purchase your tickets online through the Legacy webpage or visit legacy.seatyourself.biz   See the school webpage for more information.
