  • Attention Seniors! You and your parents are invited to join us this Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM for our annual Senior Post-Secondary Planning Night. Come to hear presentations about college, technical schools, scholarships, and much more! We will also have military recruiters and representatives from several colleges available to answer your questions during our mini post-secondary fair. Talk to your counselors for more details.

  • Congratulations to the boys soccer program who swept Broomfield on Saturday with wins at all three levels...C Team, JV, and Varsity. The varsity team continued its undefeated start to the season and now sits at 6-0. They would like to thank the wonderful fans who came out to support them. The boys travel to Poudre tomorrow and return for their next home game on Thursday. Come out and support the Lightning. Go Boltz!

  • Legacy Swimming will be having an informational meeting for BOTH girls and boys on Tues Oct 5th, 4pm in B205/207. If you are interested in swimming for the Lightning this year, please plan to attend to learn about the season, lettering requirements and volunteering. If you cannot attend, but want to be involved, please the form on the team website.

  • Hey Legacy, have any children's' books at home that aren't being read anymore? How about donating them to the organization that Mrs. Bax's ASL II class is supporting. Please bring gently used books that are relevant to kids who are between the ages of 5-12. These books may include picture books, beginner chapter books, or chapter books. All books donated will be going to Colorado Hands and Voices. Bring your books to B109 and this drive will go through the month of October.

  • The month of September is Deaf awareness and we'll be sharing 2 random facts each day this week. Fact #1 - did you know that American Sign Language is the 3rd most common language? Fact #2 - did you know that only 10% of those born deaf have deaf parents?

  • Our district counseling team is running a free event series about uplifting mental health and wellness called Building Healthy Communities. Your social, emotional, and mental wellbeing is central to your ability to learn and be successful in any part of your life. The first workshop for you and your families is Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 6:00- 7:30 PM at the Educational Support Center, and it is called Building our Sources of Strength.   • The 2021-2022 yearbook is now on sale for the lowest price of the year! Go to the yearbook website link on the Legacy homepage for all the details.

  • Students: We are encouraged by your school spirit and attendance at our athletic events. Please remember to bring your mask to all indoor athletic events. Let's support our teams who are wearing masks by also wearing yours! Remember that at football games, bags, purses, and water bottles are not permitted in the stadium. Let's positively support all our our athletes and activities at these events. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow (tonight on Thursday) night at the game!

  • Please move all cars from the west lot immediately after school so the band can practice. The band rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and occasionally on Fridays. Any cars that remain in the west lot are subject to tow at the owners expense.
