Attendance Policy

District Policy 5020 addresses Student Attendance.  Per District Policy 5020: "Parents may excuse up to five absences per semester without documentation.  Absences beyond five will be considered unexcused unless proper documentation is provided."

 

Attendance Reporting Information

All absences must be reported on the Legacy High School attendance phone line or via email.  Please call 720-972-6896 or email LEHAttendance@adams12.org to report your student's absence. The attendance line is available 24 hours a day. 

Only parents/guardians are able to report absences.  Please leave a message with the following information:

• Name of person calling
• Relationship to student
• Student's first and last name
• Date(s) of absence
• Reason for absence

Doctor's notes and other documentation for absences can be emailed to LEHAttendance@adams12.org.

 

Reporting A Future Absence

If your student is going to be absent in the future, please complete a pre-arranged absence form which can be found on the Student Passes and Forms page by clicking here.
