In School Suspension

Legacy High School uses In School Suspension (ISS) as one of many possible school responses to student behavior incidents.  In appropriate circumstances it can be used to simultaneously provide a consequence to a student for violating district policies while also allowing them to maintain academic productivity.  In conjunction with the values of the Capturing Kids' Hearts (CKH) model that is being used by the entire Legacy High School community, ISS has helped make a difference at Legacy by improving student behaviors while reducing the amount of academic time missed by students.  Families with questions about the use of ISS for their students should contact their respective Dean of Students.
