Speaker and educator Rita Pierson once said, “Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.”
In her twenty-one years as a special education teacher, Mrs. Ruvere believes in being that champion. Teaching is about more than just text books and examinations, it’s about connecting with students and providing them with the kind of encouragement and inspiration we all need for success. Education requires teamwork between the student, the parent and the teacher. She looks forward to building and supporting those relationships throughout the school year.
When she is not in the classroom, Mrs. Ruvere enjoys cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with her adorable niece and nephew. She and her husband relocated from New Jersey four years ago, and are happy being near family.
