Ms. Bynarowicz is an English teacher at Legacy High School, where she has taught since 2002. Currently in her 24th year of teaching high school English, Ms. Bynarowicz's schedule at Legacy includes AP English Literature and Composition, Advanced World Studies, and Legacy 2000. As a National Board Certified Teacher in English/Language Arts, she was recognized as being an Educator of Distinction by the National Society of High School Scholars. Furthermore, she was celebrated as one of the NSHSS TOP TEN CLAES NOBEL EDUCATORS OF THE YEAR FOR 2012. In addition, Ms. Bynarowicz was honored by The Boettcher Foundation at its 2014 Teacher Recognition Awards Program at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The program allows each recipient of the Boettcher Foundation Scholarship to acknowledge the teacher who has impacted him or her the most. Finally, Ms. Bynarowicz has also worked closely with the College Board for the past nine years as an AP Reader for the English Literature and Composition exam, which includes a Table Leadership position for the past four years. As an International AP Mentor, Mrs. Bynarowicz actively works with AP teachers in both the US and abroad to support them in their teaching of AP Literature.
