Kristi Schaad has taught science at Legacy High School for five years. Prior to coming to Legacy, Ms. Schaad taught for four years in California and was more recently the Lepidopterist at Butterfly Pavilion. Ms. Schaad is currently teaching Biology, Earth Science and Junior Legacy 2000, but also has experience teaching Physics and Chemistry. In addition to teaching, Ms. Schaad is also the advisor for the Environmental Club and is the assistant coach for the cross-country team. For her undergraduate work, Ms. Schaad attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison earning a double major in Wildlife Ecology and Zoology. Later, Ms. Schaad completed her teaching training through Point Loma Nazarene University in Califorina, and obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching through Denver Zoo and Miami University in Ohio.
