Monique Trujillo-Barnes started teaching at Legacy in the Spring of 2018, and
she currently teaches Freshman and Senior English. Monique is a Colorado
native and received her Bachelor's degree in English from Colorado State
University in 2009. After several years working in the oil and gas industry
she returned to school at Metropolitan State University of Denver and
graduated Summa Cum Laude with a teaching license in secondary English
education in December 2018. Monique is incredibly excited to continue her
teaching career at Legacy.
