Hello Legacy High School students and families! Meet Tammy Trujillo, our new Speech-Language Pathologist in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program. Tammy is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors ('96) and Masters in Speech-Language Pathology ('01). Go Pokes! She is excited to start a new journey in Adams 12 Five Star Schools, but has been a certified speech-language pathologist for almost 20 years. Her husband graduated from Northglenn High School ('92), and all 3 of her children attend schools locally (Class of '23, '28, '30). Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals of all ages with a variety of disabilities in private practices and public schools, including schools for the deaf, in Boulder, CO, Wilson, NC, and Plano, TX. She has a mother who was an educator and an older brother who is Deaf. Both have inspired her passion to work in a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program. It will be of no surprise that she especially loves exposing all of her students and familes to American Sign Language. You may also catch her at The Oasis playing beach volleyball or at all of the LHS volleyball games. Go Boltz!
